For Net Zero to become a reality, we're drawing on expertise from across the energy sector to unlock green investment for place-based solutions to the climate crisis. We're also the secretariat for the APPG on Sustainable Finance.

Climate change is a global problem with local solutions. UK100’s local leaders want to make the shift to Net Zero a reality - but they need access to public and private finance to do it.

UK100 is drawing on expertise from across the energy sector, working with policy experts, engineers, local leaders, developers and financiers to unlock green investment for place-based solutions to the decarbonisation challenge.

It is also the secretariat for the APPG on Sustainable Finance, which UK100 set up in 2020 to help parliamentarians understand more about this vital piece of the Net Zero puzzle. 

The right financial policies can help develop markets, build a resilient economy and ensure finance can flow away from polluting fossil fuels (such as those invested in our pension funds) towards the job-creating, zero-carbon sectors of the future.
