UK100 joins Climate Emergency UK for the online launch of The Local Climate Report and conference to understand the state of local climate action across the UK, addressing the critical question of how councils are progressing on climate action and where support is needed.

Date: 4 November 2025
Time: 12:30-15:30
Location: Online

Looking at how local authorities can accelerate climate action through collaboration and shared learning whilst understanding the current state of council climate action across the UK. Four months on from the Council Climate Action Scorecards launch, Climate Emergency UK will be releasing The Local Climate Report: State of UK Council Climate Action, detailing where progress has been made and where councils are struggling to reduce emissions and achieve net zero. The report will contain headline statistics from each of the 7 sections in the Scorecards methodology (Collaboration, Planning, Buildings, Transport, Governance & Finance, Biodiversity, Adaptation) alongside analysis written by sector experts.

This online climate conference will be interactive so make sure to bring your questions and get ready to discuss how these insights can apply to your local area, your climate action strategy, and your work in local government.
